I designed these especially for my father-in-law’s 70th birthday. His nickname is Pod, you see?
YARN
• 4/4/6 skeins of Hacho hand-dyed merino wool by Mirasol in sapphire (col.304), or your chosen colour (approx. 50 grams /125 metres per skein).
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
• 2 sets of DPN’s in size 2.5mm
• Yarn cutter or scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Measuring tape
GAUGE
28 sts and 42 rows = 10cm/4” over st.st using 2.5mm needles.
PATTERNS
Stockinette stitch (st.st) for circular needles:
All rnds: K.
Rib for circular needles (no. of sts divisible by 5):
All rnds: *K3, p2; rep from * to end.
