Slow Top 2

This top is made of organic cotton, which creates a lovely medium weight fabric. The challenge with this project was to create a top that would ooze femininity. A tricky thing for someone like me, who tends to favour more of a minimalist, paired down aesthetic. I counterbalanced intricate floral pattern with the simplest of structures.

YARN

• 300g (6 balls) of organic DK Pakucho cotton in sage green, or your chosen colour.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS

• 60cm long circ needles size 4 & 4.5 mm
• 80cm long circ needles size 4 & 4.5 mm
• Stich markers
• Stitch holders
• Yarn cutter or scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Measuring tape

GAUGE

19 sts & 27 rnds to 10cm/4” on 4.5mm needle over stockinette st.

PATTERN

• 1 x 1 rib.
• Lilies of the Valley.
• Stockinette stich.
